James Richardson:
I have been a self-taught working artist for 20 years and
believe in Joseph Beuys' statement, "Everyone is an
artist."
I have 8 years experience as both a puppet maker and
performer with Puppetcraft, an internationally
renowned puppet company, and have been running various
types of workshops for children and adults for even
longer.
My work with both puppets, masks and performance explores
the continuing need we have to touch our lives with myth
and magic.
Frida Hillfon:
Although I have a
Leadership Certificate to teach Free Dance from
Berit Hague (to whom I owe so much)
I am essentially self-taught as a dancer. My greatest
school has been explorations in solitude and with other
intuitive dancers. I also see the music and my audience
as equally important teachers: they have taken me to
places I would never have found in silence or alone.
