skilled maker and works with many aspects of the creative arts.
When not working with Angel Heart Theatre she facilitates workshops and residentials for people
of all ages. Occasionally she also appears onstage as a performance poet!
"I aim to inspire and enable people towards curiosity and wonder, by exploring their own
creativity. I love mixing techniques and materials to bring about stories and magical worlds that
everyone can access.
Joining Angel Heart has been the realisation of a longstanding ambition to work in puppetry-
and I’m proud to be part of such well-crafted productions."
Lisa Green:
Lisa's love for textiles and narrative has been an ongoing theme in her work. During her degree
in Fine Art in Context she created textile objects, installations and performances where story
and cloth intermingled.
As a community artist, utilising both making and storytelling, Lisa feels that creativity can bring
such transformation, and believes that we all need to be in touch with our creativity, not just
'artists'.
"Being invited to join Angel Heart Theatre is really exciting. I am delighted to be a part of
storytelling that encompasses the things I love so much."

James Richardson:
I have been a self-taught working artist for 20 years and have long believed that the German
artist, Joseph Beuys hit the nail on the head when he said, "Everyone is an artist."
Before starting Angel Heart I had 10 years experience with Puppetcraft, as both a puppet maker
and performer. Alongside this I have been a sculptor and mask-maker and facilitated many arts
and craft workshops for both children and adults.
My work with puppets, masks and performance explores the continuing need we have to touch
our lives with myth and magic. Weaving stories out of the shadows of our perception can bring
'light' to our waking selves and become an invaluable (as well as entertaining!) tool to our survival.
