Dave and James bring the Viking Age to your school or village hall with an impressive array of reconstructed clothing, armor and weapons (as well as genuine 1000-year old artifacts!) to show how the Vikings fought when they raided the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.
This fun one hour workshop culminates in the children creating their very own Viking shield wall and learn the skill of working together as a team.
Using a fabulous array of realistic looking foam-latex weapons, shields and helmets the children will get an exciting ‘hands-on’ experience of what it felt like to be in Viking battle formation...under attack!

James and Pip offer an exciting opportunity for children to enter into the magical world of shadow puppetry and to create their own shadow puppet to take home.
They begin by demonstrating various types of shadow puppets from far away and near to on our own shadow screen. Afterwards they will take the children through the steps to make a moving shadow puppet.
When the puppets are made James and Pip will demonstrate simple performance techniques before leading the children in presenting their own impromptu 'little shadow show' for friends and family that might wish to attend in the
final 15 minutes of the session.
This is a hands-on experience using child-friendly scissors and glue sticks. Any child under 6 years will need adult supervision.
